The Rendezvous Science Center aims to instill in the young generation the love of discovery through science and math providing them the skills they will need to realize their dreams. We strive to achieve this by bringing together resources including NASA’s AERO Institute, UC Berkley Lawrence Hall of Science, San Diego Super Computer Center at UC San Diego, SETI Institute amongst others with university educators and students and field specialists. We formulate and create an enriched standard-based science curriculum on topics from the bottom of the sea to the outer reaches of space. We engage elementary, middle and high school students and their teachers in hands-on/minds-on learning experiences.
These comprehensive programs are geared to build on partnerships among parents, teachers and schools to establish a more solid foundation of science literacy.
